The new facility hosts 4 Mortar Grinder RM 200 Machines, 2 - Lateral Flow ISO 5 Containment Glovebox Hoods rated for HPAPI Processing, and 8 Leica DM750P PLM Polarized NIOSH 9002 Microscopes. The lab is also equipped with round-the-clock isolated ventilation meeting NESHAP guidelines, automated workstation vacuums, and private sample storage.
With the opening of this newest addition to the AWP testing suite we can continue to meet our clients needs in a constantly evolving workplace. The lab is staffed by veteran asbestos technicians with a combined 200 years of testing experience, led by Chief Technician Waverly Smythe to quickly and accurately recover and process samples for analysis.
